About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule (3 days in-office/2 days remote) with relocation support available within the US/PR. In this role, you will develop and deliver pricing solutions for all products within the Power Systems Division (PSD). Working with Product Marketing and Senior Management, the Pricing Analyst makes recommendations and assists with the design and implementation of various analytic projects across the organization. In this role, you will research and develop new analytic projects and insights by utilizing statistical modeling techniques to identify improvement opportunities, in addition to developing key metrics to enhance business understanding of current performance and forecast solutions. As a Pricing Analyst, you will need to develop working relationships with all areas within the business including Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Engineering, IT and Management. These relationships are important to fully leverage the analysis and consultancy role the team offers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with data, analysis, or business insights.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or analytics is preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience working in pricing or with analytics is a plus.
  • Prior experience with quoting systems (CPQ, Bidman), Power BI, or SPSS Modeler is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, segmentation, and configuration rules.
  • Identify opportunities to improve price realization and margin performance.
  • Administer price changes and general price increases across quoting systems.
  • Build alignment with Product Marketing and present insights to business leaders.
  • Analyze pricing, margin, sales, and market data to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct customer, product, and market research to support pricing decisions.
  • Perform ad-hoc and statistical analyses to measure business impact.
  • Monitor economic, commodity, and competitive trends influencing pricing.
  • Support econometric and forecasting models to project market and business performance.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Build business cases and value propositions for pricing initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand customer needs, segments, and product drivers.
  • Support enterprise research projects from design through recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data queries (Power BI, QlikView, SPSS).
  • Partner with IT to support data feeds, tools, and analytics capabilities.
  • Train Product Marketing teams on pricing concepts, tools, and analytics best practices.
