The pricing analyst is responsible for maintaining pricing accuracy and supporting margin optimization across the organization. This role bridges finance and sales operations, providing data-driven insights to inform pricing strategy and supporting the month-end financial close process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or related role
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP experience is an asset)
  • Ability to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A functional knowledge of English is considered an asset, as the role requires interacting with English-speaking stakeholders and occasionally consulting documentation in English

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update pricing in ERP system; ensure accuracy and timeliness across all product lines
  • Analyze margins by customer, product, region, and sales channel; identify trends and escalate anomalies
  • Prepare quotes and margin analysis to support sales team negotiations and customer requests
  • Coordinate with Sales on pricing requests, volume discounts, and special orders
  • Validate invoicing accuracy and flag discrepancies prior to release
  • Support month-end close with margin reporting, variance analysis, and P&L reconciliation
  • Conduct ad-hoc pricing analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions
  • Identify and implement process improvements in pricing workflows and system efficiency
