About The Position

The Pricing Analyst supports the competitive and compliant pricing of CBRE GovCon proposals under the direction of the Director of Pricing. Working from cost models developed by the Estimating team, the Pricing Analyst applies the approved indirect rate structure, supports CLIN pricing architecture development, conducts price-to-win research, and assists in assembling the price/cost volume for submission. This role is the primary pipeline into the Pricer and Pricing Lead career track and is designed for professionals building depth in GovCon pricing methodology, FAR Part 15 compliance, and competitive strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business or related field
  • 4+ years Experience in GovCon pricing, cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience, preferably within the government contracting industry.
  • Working knowledge of FAR Part 15 pricing requirements or demonstrated ability to learn regulatory frameworks quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formula-based analysis, pivot tables, and structured data management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to identify and flag inconsistencies in cost data.
  • Strong written communication skills; ability to produce clear tables, summaries, and supporting narratives.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet hard proposal deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 + year Experience in GovCon pricing, cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Familiarity with indirect rate structures including fringe, overhead, and (G&A) costs and their application in cost models is preferred.
  • Experience using price-to-win research tools, such as USAspending.gov, GovWin IQ, or FPDS, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determinations and their impact on labor pricing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or a comparable GovCon ERP system is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply approved indirect rates (fringe, overhead, G&A) from the current rate card to proposal cost models under the direction of the Director of Pricing; verify rate application is consistent across all CLINs and periods.
  • Support development of the CLIN structure and cost summary in alignment with solicitation Section B and pricing exhibit requirements.
  • Conduct price-to-win (PTW) research: pull historical award data from USASpending.gov and GovWin, research IGCE references, and compile competitive intelligence inputs for the PTW memo.
  • Assist in developing the pricing strategy memo by preparing comparison tables, variance analyses, and competitive range estimates.
  • Perform compliance review of the price/cost volume against solicitation Section L/M requirements; flag deficiencies for Director of Pricing resolution.
  • Support the proposal file checklist process; ensure required documents are filed to SharePoint in accordance with naming conventions and folder structure.
  • Prepare cost summary exhibits, Section B pricing tables, and other solicitation-required pricing formats.
  • Assist in coordinating subcontractor cost rollups into the prime cost model; verify subcontractor quote amounts match the Subcontractor Rollup tab.
  • Support post-award activities: prepare proposed vs. awarded price comparisons, compile debrief notes and contribute to the lessons learned memo.
  • Maintain the Quote Library Index and Lessons Learned Master Index in SharePoint as directed.
  • Assist the Director of Pricing with rate card maintenance and version control.
  • Support multiple concurrent proposals; manage assigned tasks within established kickoff deadlines.
