About The Position

We are seeking a curious, analytical, and collaborative Pricing Analyst Lead to drive pricing strategy, profitability, and revenue optimization across the Parts & Supplies business. Reporting to the Pricing Manager, this role will be a strategic partner and pricing subject matter expert focused on setting, achieving, and sustaining pricing excellence. The Pricing Analyst Lead will collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and leadership to deliver pricing analytics, competitive intelligence, category strategy, financial modeling, and profitability improvement initiatives. This role will also lead cross-functional projects that support growth, margin expansion, and strategic business objectives across the Parts & Supplies portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in pricing, revenue management, business analytics, finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing pricing strategies, financial models, forecasts, profitability analyses, and business recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, business intelligence tools, and data visualization.
  • Experience working with pricing systems, ERP platforms, reporting tools, and analytical technologies.
  • Experience conducting competitive pricing analysis, category reviews, and strategic business assessments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, provide consultative support, and influence decision-making at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.

  • Experience supporting aftermarket, distribution, manufacturing, or Parts & Supplies businesses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and market competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain pricing models supporting list price, commissionable cost, discount, and profitability decisions.
  • Conduct category reviews and portfolio analysis to identify pricing opportunities, margin improvement initiatives, and business risks.
  • Analyze pricing performance across products, customer segments, regions, and channels to identify price realization opportunities, margin leakage, anomalies, and corrective actions.
  • Develop strategic pricing recommendations supported by financial analysis, business insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics to identify pricing opportunities, improve decision-making, and accelerate insight generation.
  • Present complex findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to cross-functional teams and business leaders.
  • Support long-range planning and annual pricing strategy development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for pricing governance, policies, and business controls.
  • Strengthen pricing discipline through pricing frameworks, approval processes, and best practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to align pricing recommendations with revenue, profitability, and strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate and support the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-driven pricing and analytics solutions, to enhance pricing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and refinement of pricing policies, segmentation strategies, discount programs, and customer pricing structures.
  • Drive process, automation, reporting, and system improvements that enhance pricing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Lead annual and ad hoc price actions, including financial modeling, impact assessments, implementation support, and post-action performance reviews.
  • Develop pricing recommendations for new products, commodity cost changes, supplier cost increases, and changing market conditions.
  • Partner with Product Management to support lifecycle pricing decisions, category strategies, and profitability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Revenue Operations, and other stakeholders to align pricing decisions with business objectives.
  • Support commissionable cost development and profitability analysis across the Parts & Supplies portfolio.
  • Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and business reviews that provide insights into revenue, margin, and pricing performance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to pricing analysts and business stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic pricing initiatives and cross-functional projects from analysis through implementation.
