Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience with pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or similar analytical role
  • Experience with pricing, including pricing strategies, structures, tools, and communications
  • Strong analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of pricing concepts and financial modeling
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to develop and deliver price strategy presentations or analyses
  • Ability to communicate solicitation requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing models and conduct pricing analysis using financial models, competitive research, and historical performance data
  • Balance customer value, product demand, and business objectives to optimize revenue and margin
  • Perform account-based analyses on competitive cost, price trends, and historical bid price points for specific proposals or subaccounts.
  • Review proposal team inputs to ensure compliance with government regulations, internal company policies, and solicitation requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Contracts, Program Management Office (PMO), Compliance, or HR, on specific proposals and portfolio processes.
  • Interface with client and internal auditors and provide audit support to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate company regulations.
  • Create and maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reports
  • Advise on pre-contract discussions and negotiations of contract awards, as appropriate.
