About The Position

The Pricing Analyst supports RFQs, develops costs, analyzes costs, and executes pricing strategies for RF & Microwave products, including RF connectors and assemblies. This role partners closely with Product Management, Customer Service, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure pricing aligns with market conditions, cost structures, and strategic objectives while maximizing profitability and competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–3+ years of pricing, financial analysis, or cost engineering experience (manufacturing preferred).
  • Experience in RF, microwave, aerospace/defense, or electronics industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cost structures in manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with RF/microwave products (coaxial cables, connectors, shielding, assemblies) is a plus.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Visual) and pricing tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, SmartView) preferred.
  • Background in RF engineered products or custom manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of commodity-driven pricing (metals, polymers)
  • Knowledge of Machining power-driven machine tools (Turning, Milling, Drilling and Grinding - CNC machine tools)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing models for RF/microwave products across our multiple sites.
  • Analyze current costs and cost structures (materials, labor, overhead) to establish prices.
  • Support quote generation for Standard, custom complex, engineered-to-order (ETO) and build-to-print (BTP) products.
  • Recommend pricing strategies based on market demand, competitive positioning, and product lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed margin analysis by product line, customer, and program with Product Management.
  • Evaluate impact of raw material fluctuations (e.g., copper, PTFE, shielding materials).
  • Partner with Supply Chain to assess vendor pricing trends and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Identify margin leakage and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends, and customer expectations within RF/microwave markets.
  • Support bid/no-bid decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Analyze win/loss data to refine pricing strategies.
  • Work with Engineering to understand product design, manufacturability, and cost drivers.
  • Partner with Sales to support customer negotiations and long-term agreements (LTAs).
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and profitability targets.
  • Maintain pricing databases, cost models, and quoting tools.
  • Improve pricing processes, governance, and approval workflows.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting (margin, price realization, quote turnaround time).
