Requirements

  • High School Diploma or some college
  • 0–2 years of experience in pricing, finance discipline, data analysis, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Familiarity with financial modeling concepts (cost build-ups, margin analysis, pricing structures)
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data sets and identify trends, inconsistencies, and pricing drivers
  • Basic understanding of cost structures, revenue models, and profitability metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present data and pricing insights clearly to internal stakeholders
  • Capable of translating complex data into simple, actionable insights
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and documentation
  • Ability to follow standardized processes and templates
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to evolving pricing processes

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant coursework in statistics, financial modeling, or data analysis
  • Internship or academic project experience involving financial analysis, cost modeling, or data interpretation
  • Basic understanding of databases or data tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Exposure to CRM or CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce)

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic pricing analysis and cost modeling for proposals and quotes
  • Support development of price volumes, BOEs, and cost narratives
  • Assist in building pricing models (Excel-based or CPQ tools)
  • Ensure pricing aligns with customer requirements, RFP instructions, and internal strategy
  • Perform all required pricing and supporting team deliverables
  • Support senior pricing analysts, deal desk, and sales teams
  • Help coordinate inputs across Finance, Program / delivery teams, and Sales / BD
  • Participate in pricing reviews, color teams, and internal reviews
  • Labor rate build-ups
  • Margin analysis
  • Validate assumptions and inputs in pricing models
  • Support profitability and compliance checks
  • Maintain pricing templates, trackers, and documentation
  • Support CRM / pipeline tools (e.g., Salesforce updates tied to pricing)
  • Help improve pricing processes, standardization, and automation
