About The Position

The Pricing Analyst I is an entry-level position responsible for pricing analysis, fare management, and market performance monitoring. This role analyzes domestic and international market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand. The analyst will assist in implementing fare changes and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions and revenue maximization. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, including projects associated with the integration of Sun Country and Allegiant. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

  • Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
  • Bachelor's in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or any other quantitative focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized and able to price a large number of similar but unique flights.
  • Strong understanding of basic supply and demand economics.
  • Self-motivated to continually improve upon past performance.
  • Excellent problem solving and structured thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent team approach and positive attitude.
  • Valid/Unexpired Passport Book
  • Valid/Unexpired Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Airline or transportation industry interest.
  • Experience in business, economics, and/or math advantageous.
  • Experience in SQL, Python, Visual Basic, or similar coding.
  • Ability to create spreadsheet models and produce relevant output is extremely advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor competitor pricing, market performance and revenue trends; recommend and implement pricing adjustments as directed.
  • Analyze domestic and international market performance to identify revenue optimization opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in the pricing and revenue management systems, including Navitaire and fare filing systems.
  • Assist in the development and execution of pricing strategies that support company revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of pricing actions and market findings.
  • Produce ad-hoc projects related to the airline’s strategic and profitability goals.
  • Generate and update analysis and reports for revenue team.
  • Prepare and present market performance reports and analyses to management and senior leadership.
  • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
