About The Position
Under the direction of the Team Leader and Production Team Leader, the Pricer - Miscel processes hard goods donations. The role includes receiving, grading, and pricing donations, and maintaining the work area's image in accordance with the Kaizen layout and processing standards. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Rockwall, Texas, with an hourly salary range beginning at $14.75 and no travel required.
Requirements
- Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
- Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
- Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.
- Ability to listen to and follow directions.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification, such as gowns, shirts, and pants.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
- Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean, and remove items from containers.

- Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sort and price hard goods (miscel) from carts or totes and determine the quality of donations.
- Place and present merchandise on the appropriate utility cart and bring it to the sales floor promptly.
- Become familiar with brands and collectible items to apply appropriate pricing standards.
- Place hard goods in appropriate categories according to merchandising policies and procedures.
- Rotate stock promptly according to established procedures.
- Keep the production area clean and safe.
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and comply with the dress code, including wearing a name badge and vest.
- Assist with miscel color rotation according to established procedures.
- Direct customers to the appropriate area and provide general information when requested.
- Watch for shoplifting and notify store management about suspicious activity.
- Refer customer complaints to management in a timely manner.
- React calmly and respond to emergency situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
