About The Position

The Price Maintenance Clerk provides excellent guest service by ensuring merchandise is priced accurately. The role involves verifying and auditing prices across DSD and MDI categories, perishable departments, and advertised items; updating prices in register systems, computers, and on shelf tags and signs; and ensuring transmitted DSD price changes are completed correctly. The clerk also audits scan error logs and performs stocking and cashier duties, along with other duties assigned by management.

Ability to read and understand information and direction.
Knowledge of DSD/scanning operations.
Ability to work well with computers.

Excellent math skills.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Verify and audit prices in DSD categories, MDI categories, perishable departments, and ad items.
Update new prices in the register system.
Update new prices on shelf tags and signs.
Update prices in the computer and on the shelf, including displaying signs for discontinued items.
Audit scan error logs.
Ensure DSD price changes transmitted to the store are properly executed and that shelf tags are printed and placed on shelves, including for advertised and promotional items.
Perform as a stocker.
Perform as a cashier.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
