About The Position

This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Shell's product master reference data for convenience retail. The CR Price Book Analyst / Administrator is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and execution of items, cost, and retail pricing data within the PDI system for a multi-store convenience retail network. The role currently serves the Shell Mobility company owned and operated stores in New Mexico and Texas.

This role also serves as the single point of control for the PDI price book, ensuring that the assigned pricing, cost changes, promotions, and item setups are implemented correctly, on time, and consistently across all stores. The position works closely with Category Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to translate pricing and promotional decisions into flawless system execution.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• PDI administration, retail systems, or price book management
• Convenience retail or multi-unit retail environment strongly preferred
• Firsthand experience with PDI Enterprise (or similar POS/price book systems).
• Strong proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, data validation).
• Retail pricing structures
• Cost vs. retail mechanics
• Promotions and effective dating

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with fuel vs. inside store pricing concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the PDI price book, including item setup, cost updates, retail pricing, and promotional pricing.
• Implement regular and promotional pricing directed by Category Management and Marketing.
• Serve as the system gatekeeper for the assigned categories and geographical scope, enforcing standards for item setup and pricing changes.
• Perform regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor pricing execution and quickly resolve price book or POS discrepancies.
