MCD is a global public health non-profit organization recognized in the United States and internationally as a leader, innovator, and trusted partner in the design, implementation, and assessment of high quality, enduring programs in public health. We are looking to bring on board a Prevention Services Coordinator, who is a part of the Tobacco and Substance Use Prevention and Control Program at the Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). The Prevention Services Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of several prevention services contracts including substance use prevention and our prevention workforce development services contract focused on training, technical assistance and conference & event planning logistics.. This position is the primary contact for the Maine Prevention Network contracted providers. The position is responsible for ensuring contract compliance of deliverables and reporting requirements as well as invoice approval/denial. The position works closely with the Substance Use Prevention Program Manager on the approvals of content area workplans and spending of funds. The successful candidate will bring solid experience in primary prevention services.
