About The Position

At PreventEd, our Prevention Educators don’t sit behind desks. They stand in front of classrooms, lead powerful conversations, build relationships with schools, and equip students with skills that help them make healthy, informed choices for life. If you love working with youth, enjoy educating, value flexibility, and want a schedule that fits your life then this role was made for you. Part-time educators typically deliver 12–25 presentations per week (based on your availability and goals set with your supervisor).

Requirements

  • Experience with all ages, K-12 is a Must
  • Associate degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, human services, or related field
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel within our 7 county region is required)
  • Basic computer skills (email, Word, Teams, data entry)
  • Willingness to obtain Missouri Prevention Specialist certification within 6–12 months (we help you!)

Nice To Haves

  • Public speaking, teaching, youth work, or community experience is a plus — but passion and presence matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Lead classroom presentations and school programs
