Requirements
- Experienced with mechanical repairs including bearings, gearboxes, belts, hydraulic cylinders, shafts, and minor electrical repairs.
- Skilled with hand tools and equipment including plasma cutters, MIG/TIG welders, hydraulic presses, and oxy-acetylene torches.
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, with progressively developing mechanical and maintenance skills.
- Able to read and understand basic blueprints related to equipment and maintenance operations.
- Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Comfortable with a medium-heavy work environment, including frequent lifting, bending, reaching, standing, climbing, and working around noise, heat, moisture, chemicals, and moving machinery.
Responsibilities
- Performs repairs, maintenance, dismantling, installation, and changeovers on packaging and production equipment.
- Uses EAM/CMMS systems for work orders and preventive maintenance, following OEM lubrication schedules, GMPs, and all safety procedures.
- Works effectively with operations and maintenance teams.
