About The Position
The Preventative Maintenance Technician will hold the responsibility to offer comprehensive service solutions for operating, maintaining, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and performing other related duties in commercial buildings settings. This includes performing various tasks relating to maintaining and preserving refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilating, and heating systems in buildings. This may include replacing, cleaning, preserving air filters, thermostats, belts, bearings, and blower fans.
Requirements
- Experience with operating, maintaining, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Ability to perform tasks relating to maintaining and preserving refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilating, and heating systems
- Experience replacing, cleaning, and preserving air filters, thermostats, belts, bearings, and blower fans
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Ability to complete service calls in a timely manner
- Experience providing preventative maintenance on commercial equipment including mini splits, heat pumps, furnaces, and packaged systems
- Professional courtesy and respect when interacting with customers
- Effective communication skills with managers, dispatchers, and customers
- Ability to inspect and maintain a company-provided service vehicle
- Skill in ordering parts to complete service calls
- Efficiency and effectiveness in completing paperwork
- Willingness to attend all continuous training sessions
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance, refrigeration, & HVAC Equipment
- Complete Service Calls in a timely manner
- Provide Preventative Maintenance on all commercial equipment including mini splits, heat pumps, furnace, Packaged systems
- Treat Customers with professional courtesy and respect
- Communicate effectively with manager, dispatcher and customer
- Inspect and maintain company provided service vehicle
- Order parts to complete service calls
- Complete paper work in an efficient effective manner
- Attend all continuous training sessions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
