About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of their stores, from maintaining Slurpee machines to addressing in-store maintenance challenges. The technician will be responsible for responding to work orders for minor equipment repairs, managing parts inventory, completing daily reports, and prioritizing assignments for efficiency. Safety and adherence to service manual guidelines are paramount.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Show leadership and effective communications
- Project/stretch assignments
- Facility location ownership
Responsibilities
- Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.)
- Replace ‘plug and play’ equipment
- Order and manage parts inventory
- Complete daily reports
- Schedule and prioritize assignments to ensure efficiency
- Read, understand, and follow service manual guidelines
- Work safely and handle other duties as assigned
