About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I to join their team and help keep their stores running smoothly. This role involves ensuring equipment like Slurpee machines are at the perfect chill and tackling in-store maintenance challenges. The technician will respond to work orders for minor repairs, manage parts inventory, complete daily reports, and schedule/prioritize assignments. They will also need to read and understand service manual guidelines and work safely.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Show leadership and effective communications
- Project/stretch assignments
- Facility location ownership
Responsibilities
- Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.)
- Replace ‘plug and play’ equipment
- Order and manage parts inventory
- Complete daily reports
- Schedule and prioritize assignments to ensure efficiency
- Read, understand, and follow service manual guidelines
- Work safely and handle other duties as assigned
