Pressure Washing Technician-Porter
About The Position
Benderson Development is seeking an experienced and reliable Pressure Washer to join their team in the Amherst, NY area. This position performs cleaning duties outside of the business hours of their properties. The role involves operating a high-pressure washing system to clean large areas such as buildings, walkways, and large vehicles, and preparing surfaces for repair or construction. The technician must ensure sufficient water supply and adhere to all industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate can work independently and is willing to travel to different job sites.
Requirements
- Must have an active driver's license.
- Possess good oral and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform duties in an orderly fashion under general supervision.
- One plus years of satisfactory work experience, preferably in the pressure washing field.
- Excellent driving record.
- Federal DOT physical required
Nice To Haves
- Lift certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pressure wash surfaces at different properties.
- Check the equipment to make sure you have an adequate water supply and that it is working properly
- Operate pressure washer machinery to clean surfaces
- Inspect the surface area after the washing to ensure it is clear of dirt and debris
- Clear the job site and store all hoses and equipment correctly
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury
