About The Position

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
• Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating.
• Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test.
• Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank.
• Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards.
• Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms.
• Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
