About The Position

Become a Key Player as a Hose Coil / Pressure Test Operator (PAF). You will ensure finished hose assemblies meet quality and safety standards by performing hose coiling and pressure testing on a night shift production line. You will work onsite with the production team and maintenance, contributing to consistent output and defect reduction during a 3rd shift schedule (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM) with mandatory overtime.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training (1–8 weeks; up to 10 weeks if needed)
• Ability to work mandatory night shift hours (3rd shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM) and flexible hours for overtime
• Attention to detail and constant alertness to product quality; good near vision for reading measurements and labels
• Basic computer skills and ability to record inspection/test data
• Ability to lift/carry up to ~20 lbs frequently, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Prior production or manufacturing experience
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfort working in a team environment and participating in Lean/5S initiatives
• Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify changes

Responsibilities

• Review hose conformance while coiling, verify part numbers, hose size, and job numbers to manufacturing specifications
• Inspect hose for defects (broken wires, kinks, missing wires, bony hose) and remove/nonconforming sections
• Measure OD, ID, and pitch; prepare and complete proper labeling and documentation
• Operate pressure test equipment: set up test mode, jaws, mandrels, prefill, run cycle time, and dump/purge pressure
• Record PSI impact and other test data; place tested hose into quality inspection area
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow 5S and safety practices
• Report production or equipment issues to the Direct Lead and support maintenance as needed
• Perform other production tasks and duties as assigned, including work of equal or lower classification
