About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Sr. Sewing Supervisor, the person in this position is responsible for pressing seams following all established work, quality and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be able to visually perform product inspections.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime.
- Must have arm and hand strength to pull fabric tightly throughout a 10-hour period.
- Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
- On the job training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Press the ends of the seam seal tapes to assure a proper seal.
- Inspect finished product to assure proper seal.
- Notify supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding product or procedures.
- Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
