At West Fraser, our Press Support Technician is responsible for maintaining overall safety and efficiency in the Press Area.

Requirements

Eligible to legally work in the United States
High School diploma or equivalent education
Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team
Be reliable and possess consistent and predictable attendance behavior.

Responsibilities

Respond to production issues in the Press Area and assist the Control Room operator when needed.
Use mobile equipment for waste material disposal.
Be able to identify problems in the Press Area and fix them accordingly.
Assist in down day housekeeping responsibilities such as ice blasting of the press and press pit cleanup.
Train in operational roles, understanding new processes and ideas, and be able to prove developmental progression.
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership team.
Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
