About The Position

Parallel Employment Group is hiring a Press Setup Machine Operator for a long-term temporary opportunity with a manufacturing company in Racine, WI. We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up production presses, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring products meet quality standards throughout each production run.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to make basic measurements using rulers or calipers.
Be able to use basic hand tools.
Do basic math (add, sub, multiply, divide).

Responsibilities

Install dies, fixtures, and tooling into production presses.
Position materials and prepare presses for production.
Adjust machine settings before and during production runs.
Reference production samples and work instructions to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform minor press repairs and routine machine maintenance.
Move materials throughout the production area as needed.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Complete production paperwork and required recordkeeping.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
