Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED - minimum
  • Basic computer skills and demonstrated basic math skills
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English
  • 2 Years manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a dynamic and demanding team
  • Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
  • Accountable - teachable - approachable
  • Ability to learn, make decisions, and be creative & flexible
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand up for a minimum of 8 hours

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer previous experience in an assembly / manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required

Responsibilities

  • Pack components produced from the press.
  • Sort, Fill, Package, & Palletize product to packaging specifications.
  • Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties.
  • Load coils as required from cradle to reel.
  • Feed strip of material up to the feeder to be readied for production.
  • During a press changeover, move all equipment back to storage locations.
  • Keep station clean and orderly (5-S as a PRIORITY).
  • Keep incoming empty containers in proper locations.
  • Report all Quality, Production or Safety problems to the Team Lead.
  • Ensure finished product is labeled and staged for Material Handler pick-up.
  • Write & follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned area.
  • Understand and follow all safety rules.
