About The Position

INX International is seeking a 1st Shift Packout - Press Out Operator to tend press-out equipment safely and efficiently while packaging high-quality printing ink. The role includes following batch instructions, weighing batches accurately, monitoring and adjusting temperature, pressing out inks and adjusting pump speeds, making quality-control adjustments as instructed, labeling and packaging finished ink products, and operating a forklift. The operator works with research and development, production, scheduling, quality, and preventive maintenance teams, and contributes to process improvements and the company’s sustainability goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED desired, or 1–3 months of related experience.
Good math and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability in working the assigned shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Exceptional attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
Quantitative and qualitative research skills to assess new product outcomes and recommend process improvements.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience within the ink industry.
Pump filter industry background.
Two or more years of related manufacturing experience.
Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Follow batch instructions and weigh batches accurately.
Understand and follow proper procedures.
Monitor temperature and adjust it as needed.
Follow procedures for pressing out inks and adjusting pump speeds.
Make quality-control adjustments as instructed.
Follow procedures for labeling and packaging finished ink products.
Operate a forklift.
Work with R&D and Production Managers to assess new product success and recommend process improvements.
Work alongside the scheduling team, Quality Coordinator, and Preventative Maintenance team.
Help ensure products and services contribute to sustainability and the good of the company.
