The purpose of this position is to help carry out the full responsibilities that will continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living. The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Door Department.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with others.
• Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Knowledge of quality standards.
• Must know how to read a tape measure.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicates effectively with the Lead person or Supervisor.
• Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete on a timely basis.
• Experience using tape gun-pins, clamp press, tape measures, hammer and air nozzle.

Responsibilities

• Presses door and shoots pins in back of door.
• Ensures doors are square and constructed properly.
• Ensures there are no open joints in doors.
• Ensure correct number of pins are shot in back of doors.
• Produce and press quality doors per hour.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Properly operates and maintains press square.
