About The Position

As a Production Operator, you will contribute to the production, inspection, and packaging of injection-molded products, including retail storage and janitorial products. You will help maintain a safe, clean operation and ensure products meet specifications and customer packing requests. American Plastics is a leading supplier of injection-molded products with facilities in four states and more than 50 years of manufacturing history.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds, and up to 80 pounds with a team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation that promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from the conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and pack products according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble, and pack parts.
• Supply production lines and packing/staging areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
