Join our team as a Press Operator - Jet/Cheetah on 2nd shift. Hours are Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm with overtime as needed. The Press Operator is responsible for set-up, operation, and troubleshooting printing press equipment to job specifications in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three years printing or manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with power tools.
Accurate skills in math, and the ability to read a ruler.
Attention to precision and detail.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot printing presses according to safety, quality, and production guidelines.
Read instructions from job tickets and set up presses based on instructions.
Match and maintain colors to samples and/or PMS standards.
Perform advanced level of preventative, emergency, and scheduled maintenance and repairs to the equipment as needed.
Proofreading products to ensure copy is correct.
Periodically washing cylinders and blankets with solvent.
Maintain production records and equipment logs accurately and timely.
