About The Position

The purpose of this position is to produce a defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications. Essential duties include pressing components like bearings, seals, and snap rings into cans, positioning various components before assembly, stacking pushnuts and seals, and ensuring parts are accurate to specifications. The role also involves inspecting cans for bad welds, reporting material/paperwork errors, collecting data, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and maintaining housekeeping in the work area. Continuous participation in additional job-related training and performing extra assignments in other areas are also required.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Know how to read a tape measure.
Ability to complete orders on short notice to meet customer expectations.
Regular, consistent attendance.
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or One to three months related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

Responsibilities

Press components into cans including but not limited to bearings, seals, and snap rings.
Position components including but not limited to cans, bearings, shafts, seals, and pushnuts before assembling product.
Stack components including but not limited to pushnuts and seals.
Assemble and assure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
Inspect cans and repair bad welds.
Report material and/or paperwork errors to supervisor.
Collect required data.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance including but not limited to tightening bolts.
Perform housekeeping in area including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tools and machines.
Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
