About The Position

As our Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining a web offset printing press while ensuring high-quality production and efficiency. You will work closely with your team in a fast-paced environment and receive training to advance your career.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments on equipment
• Thorough knowledge of web offset printing presses
• Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally and 10-25 lbs. frequently
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift (12 hours)
• Ability to read job tickets, perform maintenance, read a micrometer, and use basic math & computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience preferred
• DMP, RLI, and COMN experience desired
• Agree to participate in cross-training, including achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a backup for lateral and progressive roles, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate web offset printing presses
• Install plates and blankets to ensure high-quality output
• Make necessary color or register adjustments
• Replace press rollers using hand tools
• Troubleshoot and maintain press equipment for optimal performance
