About The Position
As our Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining a web offset printing press while ensuring high-quality production and efficiency. You will work closely with your team in a fast-paced environment and receive training to advance your career.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments on equipment
- Thorough knowledge of web offset printing presses
- Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills
- DMP, RLI, and COMN experience desired
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally and 10-25 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift (12 hours)
- Ability to read job tickets, perform maintenance, read a micrometer, and use basic math & computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate web offset printing presses
- Install plates and blankets to ensure high-quality output
- Make necessary color or register adjustments
- Replace press rollers using hand tools
- Troubleshoot and maintain press equipment for optimal performance
