Press Machine Operator
About The Position
This position involves operating a press machine and performing material handling functions. Key responsibilities include using the press machine to layout laminate to material, operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse as needed, and reporting any defective materials or questionable conditions to the General Manager. The operator is also responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely, and following all prescribed safety regulations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of tooling materials
- Must be flexible with task assignments
- Maintain current Forklift Driver certification
- Good mathematical skills
Nice To Haves
- Basic mechanical knowledge to make minor repairs
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Previous woodworking experience
Responsibilities
