About The Position
The Press Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining punch presses, ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing processes. This position offers a contract-to-permanent opportunity, allowing for career growth and stability within the company.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with punch press operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating punch presses or similar manufacturing machinery is highly preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of safety procedures.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate punch presses to manufacture components according to specifications.
- Monitor production run, adjusting equipment as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality control measures.
- Keep accurate records of production output and machinery performance.
