About The Position

This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend materials according to work orders. The operator checks the quality of products, packages materials, and prepares them for shipment. The role is based in a warehouse and requires knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices, as well as the ability to measure machined features using a variety of instruments. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of machine operation experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for 15% of the shift.
• Ability to stand for up to 100% of the shift.
• Ability to walk for 50% of the shift.
• Ability to climb stairs or ladders for up to 10% of the shift.
• Ability to stoop or bend for up to 30% of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices.
• Skill measuring machined features using a variety of measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up press brake machines to the proper specifications.
• Operate machines to bend materials as specified by work orders.
• Check the quality of products coming off the machine.
• Package material and prepare it for shipment.
