About The Position

Veritiv is the leading full-service provider of packaging solutions, also providing JanSan, hygiene, print and publishing products and services. Veritiv serves customers in a wide range of industries, through team members around the world helping shape the success of its customers. This role is responsible for operating the press based upon instructions provided, working with the press crew to ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines. The Press Feeder will report the status of projects and any issues of machinery to the head press operator, read and understand job tickets and verify that stock matches job specs on ticket before loading press. Additionally, the role involves transferring paper to and from machinery using industrial trucks or hand trucks, monitoring paper as it runs through the press and making adjustments to the operations to prevent paper jams, and assisting in performing routine maintenance on the press with the press team members as required. The role also requires following all safety policies and regulations and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience as a Press Feeder
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years related experience preferred
