About The Position

MPE is seeking a Press Brake Team Member in Milwaukee to set up and operate CNC press brakes, forming steel components to quality and production standards. This role offers opportunities to build press brake skills and grow into more advanced setup and programming work. The position is on second shift, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., in a fast-paced production environment where precision and teamwork are important.

The production facility is not climate controlled and may be warm or cool depending on the weather. Noise levels are moderate to loud. No relocation or sponsorship is available. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of press brake or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand standard and metric dimensions.
• Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and height gauges.
• Continuously stand, walk, operate machinery, and use dexterous hand movements; continuously use vision, hearing, and comprehension while operating machines and measuring parts.
• Occasionally sit, operate a forklift, perform math, and lift up to 30 pounds; intermittently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Form a variety of steel components using CNC press brakes.
• Perform full setup and operation of one type of press brake.
• Read mechanical drawings, including standard and metric dimensions.
• Use measuring tools to check parts for quality.
• Flex into other fabrication areas, such as inserting or fabrication assembly, as needed.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area.
