About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our team of precision sheet metal fabricators. This role combines hands-on machine expertise with precision measurement, material knowledge and strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled and committed to producing accurate precision sheet metal parts.

Requirements

3+ years experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
Experience working with a variety of metals across different thicknesses.
Skilled in maintaining tight tolerances throughout production runs.
Familiarity with bend calculations to ensure accurate finished parts.
Experience with quality control processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience setting up press brake and selecting appropriate tooling.
Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges and other inspection tools as well as miscellaneous hand and power tools.
Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Problem solving skills and critical thinking.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Amada equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form and shape metal components.
Select correct tooling based on each job's parameters.
Work with steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Adjust machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
