About The Position

Tommy’s is looking for a Press Brake Operator to operate a CNC press brake to fabricate stainless steel components.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and training.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • High willingness to learn
  • Ability to operate forklift, Aerial platform and overhead crane
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Views customer care as high priority; exhibits a positive can-do attitude
  • Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cincinnati Press Brakes operation and programming is preferred but not required
  • Experience welding is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC press brake machine to produce formed components from stainless steel blanks
  • Preform programming and tool selection to produce formed parts per print
  • Read and interpret part prints
  • Perform routine maintenance of machine
  • Troubleshoot problems and make minor machine adjustments as necessary to correct
  • Organizes and maintains work area to 5S standards
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
  • Work with other team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Assists in other areas within the fabrication team as needed
