About The Position
The Press Assistant position is an entry-level position that provides the opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become an impactful member of the Inland Press department. The Press Assistant must have the desire to advance within the department. Inland Packaging is a local label and packaging manufacturer seeking a Press Assistant to join our growing team. Inland is a family-owned business that prints labels for brands like Kraft Heinz, New Glarus Brewing, Sprecher’s, Leinenkugel’s, and Coors Light.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree required
- 1 or more years of manufacturing experience
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Willingness to utilize and learn new technology
Responsibilities
- Assists in setting up a Gravure printing press for efficient production.
- Manages the handling, storage, and cleaning of press-related components.
- Cross-trains with Press Operators to learn the functionality of the Gravure Press.
- Partners with Press Operators and Maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve production related issues.
- Works as a team member to meet production and company goals.
