This role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating hydraulic and mechanical punch press equipment to blank, punch, and form parts. The apprentice will also be responsible for adjusting ram strokes, working from drawings and specifications, and using various measuring tools. Sorting and packaging parts according to work instructions, verifying material quantity and quality, and moving raw materials are also key functions. Additionally, the role includes training less experienced operators, organizing work efficiently, collaborating with team members, and making accurate computer system transactions.
