Responsible for the management of resources and selection of people to provide an efficient and effective licensed escrow fund control business. This role involves maintaining the integrity and quality of service through procedures, employee selection, training, evaluation, and service. It also includes relationship management, prospecting for new relationships, expanding market share, and leading direct marketing efforts. The position requires maintaining current knowledge of state and federal regulations related to lien laws, title, and construction lending, as well as industry trends. The role is responsible for ensuring all state and regulatory requirements are met, identifying and selecting local inspectors, managing the inspection program's processes, fee negotiations, and quality control. The President Fund Control General Admin will conduct department meetings, assist the Controller/Operations Manager and employees, and maintain employee registration files. This role is involved in legal questions, represents fund control when deposed as a witness, and resolves customer problems to achieve continuous improvement in customer service. Knowledge of strategic, financial, and operational components of the business is essential, along with monitoring and evaluating expenses, procedures, and working relationships. The position involves assisting customers with new projects, cross-promoting lumber sales, and spotting active jobs for compliance with escrow law. Recognizing the needs and trends for technology advancements and evaluating technology improvements are also key responsibilities, including understanding the capabilities and limitations of the fund control computer system. The role manages the Controller/Operation Manager, who supervises nine employees, and the inspection group, consisting of four independent contractors. The President Fund Control General Admin must understand and observe all safety procedures and practices, ensuring employees do the same to prevent injuries or damage, and schedules periodic safety meetings.
