Boys & Girls Club of Whatcom County•Bellingham, WA
•Onsite

About The Position

Help shape what comes next for one of Whatcom County's most trusted youth-serving organizations. Founded in 1946, Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County (BGCWC) has been a cornerstone of youth development in our community for 80 years. Today, we operate four Clubhouses and four licensed Early Learning Centers, serving young people and families across Whatcom County. We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and deeply relational Chief Executive Officer to lead BGCWC into its next chapter. This is an opportunity for a leader who believes that great organizations are built around extraordinary people - and that when we invest in the people who serve young people, we create stronger outcomes for everyone. The next CEO will lead an established organization with a strong community reputation, committed staff, engaged volunteers, and a clear mission, while also helping shape the future of the organization. BGCWC is continuing to strengthen its organizational structure, systems, programs, and culture to meet the changing needs of young people and families. The CEO will help bring these pieces together with a clear focus on our mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on -someone who can see the big picture while understanding that successful leadership often happens in the details. The CEO will provide overall leadership for BGCWC's programs, people, operations, finances, fundraising, partnerships, and community presence.
