About The Position

The Family Preservation Supervisor oversees Family Preservation staff within an assigned region, ensuring quality services that promote child safety, family stability, and well-being. This role provides clinical and administrative supervision, supports staff development, ensures contract and policy compliance, coordinates services with community partners, and serves as a liaison with courts and other agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
Current Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board licensure (LBSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LCP, or equivalent) required.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field preferred.
Supervisory experience in child welfare, family services, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support Family Preservation Case Managers and Family Support Workers.
Provide coaching, training, and trauma-informed supervision to staff.
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant case documentation and service delivery.
Coordinate with courts, community partners, and public/private agencies to meet family needs.
Monitor referrals, assign cases, and oversee contract compliance.
Facilitate team meetings, staff development, and program planning activities.
Provide crisis intervention and on-call support as needed.
Compile reports, maintain data systems, and ensure accurate program reporting.
Promote cultural responsiveness, teamwork, and positive outcomes for children and families.
