About The Position
The Center for Disability Services is seeking Preschool Teaching Assistants to join their agency. They are a large provider of programs and services for individuals with disabilities and have been doing so for 80 years. They are currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for Preschool Teaching Assistants joining their team at Glenville. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Will be required to obtain their NYS Teaching Assistant Certification

Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with activities designed to address student’s needs as outlined on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Preparing classroom materials
- Direct instruction of students
- Custodial care of students
