About The Position

Kama‘āina Kids, recognized as one of Hawai‘i’s Top Workplaces, is hiring Preschool Teachers in Kailua and Kaneohe. They are looking for individuals who love teaching preschool and desire a workplace that is organized, supportive, and appreciates experienced educators. The role involves planning and leading engaging classroom experiences, supporting children's social-emotional growth and early learning milestones, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, partnering with families, and collaborating with the teaching team. They are hiring Teachers for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool in Honolulu, offering a $500 New Hire Bonus for both Part-Time & Full-Time positions.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old + high school diploma/GED
  • PATCH-qualified (or eligible), such as: CDA or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
  • 6–12 months experience in a licensed childcare/preschool setting
  • Dependable team player with strong communication skills and commitment to ECE
  • At least 18 with a high school diploma or GED
  • 12–24 months of experience with children under age 3 in a licensed setting
  • Infant/Toddler Training (We can provide all the required training hours!)
  • Nurturing, patient, and dependable team player with a passion for infant and toddler care
  • At least 18 with a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with children in any setting (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, youth programs, etc.) or a strong interest in working with children
  • Kind, patient, and energetic; eager to learn and grow in early childhood education with a willingness to be trained
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate).

  • We have Aide positions available while we help you complete training to meet PATCH qualifications.
  • We support your growth and cover the cost of your CDA (Child Development Associate) while you gain experience toward a Teacher or Caregiver role.
