About The Position

Kama‘āina Kids, recognized as one of Hawai‘i’s Top Workplaces, is hiring Preschool Teachers in the Hawaiʻi Kai / Koko Head area. This role involves planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate classroom experiences, supporting children’s social-emotional growth and early learning milestones, maintaining a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment, partnering with families, and collaborating with the teaching team. The position offers a supportive, organized, and stable work environment within a nationally accredited program with a strong curriculum. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma/GED
• PATCH-qualified (or eligible), such as: CDA or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
• 6–12 months experience in a licensed childcare/preschool setting
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Dependable and committed to ECE
• Infant/Toddler Teachers (Caregivers): High school diploma
• Infant/Toddler Training (We can provide all the required training hours!)
• 12–24 months of experience with children under 36 months
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)
