About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and happy Preschool Teacher to lead or assist a class of students through the school year. The teacher assesses students’ current academic levels and designs instruction to meet collective and individual needs. The role calls for a passion for learning and helping students reach their potential, along with creative and problem-solving skills, the ability to connect with individual students, and the ability to create an engaging classroom environment.

Requirements

Must pass a background check.
Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Understand classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and be able to closely adhere to them.
Problem-solving and mediation skills.

Responsibilities

Create or follow a comprehensive curriculum.
Teach beginning motor skills.
Assist children with developing social and emotional skills.
Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques.
Communicate with parents and other school personnel.
Assess students’ skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones.
