About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time teacher for their PK3/4 classroom. This is a classical and Catholic homeschool hybrid program located in Charlotte, NC, offering instruction on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm during the 2026-2027 academic year. The program emphasizes a small adult-to-child ratio and a formal Socratic classroom setting. While formal teaching experience or certification is not required, the ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, a traditional view of the student-teacher relationship, and strong communication and organizational skills. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended hours throughout the work day.
• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Complete a background check.
• Complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach PK3/4 classroom students according to RCA standards.
• Provide instruction and classroom management.
