Catholic Preschool Assistant
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (RCA) is seeking a Catholic part-time Preschool Assistant to support a classical and Catholic Preschool classroom. This role involves 13 hours of work per week at our Austin, TX Center. While formal teaching experience or certification is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided, a strong affinity for the Catholic faith and the ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student-teacher relationship, and actively practice the Catholic faith. Standard computer skills, particularly with Google Suite or equivalent, are a plus. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.
Requirements
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended hours throughout the work day.
- Standard computer skills (ideally with Google Suite or equivalent).
- Complete mandatory training before working at the Center.
- Clear background check.

Responsibilities
- Assist in a classical and Catholic Preschool classroom.
