About The Position

AppleTree Bogart is seeking a Preschool Teacher to help shape children’s earliest learning experiences. The role supports the classroom team in creating a safe, engaging environment where children can learn and grow. The teacher assists with daily activities, provides active supervision, helps implement the curriculum, and contributes to a smooth, positive classroom experience. The position offers hands-on classroom experience and opportunities to develop a career in early childhood education.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Meet all state-specific education, certification, licensing, and regulatory requirements, including CPR/First Aid where required.
Be able to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with children, families, and team members.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be dependable, positive, patient, and supportive; work well as part of a collaborative team; be open to learning and feedback; and adapt well in a fast-paced classroom environment.

Nice To Haves

Coursework or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting.
Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements.
Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for all children.
Support daily activities and curriculum implementation alongside the lead teacher.
Provide active supervision at all times, ensuring safety and compliance with required ratios.
Support children’s development through positive guidance, interaction, and play.
Assist with classroom routines, organization, and communication with families.
Support overall school operations.
